Have you ever thought about the things that matter the most in your life and how you can’t put a price tag on them? Things like your family, your friends, your relationships and your health. And funny enough, we never seem to pay them enough attention.

We live in a society where everyone is so fixated on possessions and materialistic things that we often lose sight of the big picture and about the things that really matter.

As a parent, I know this first hand. I have, unfortunately on more than one occasion, yelled at my children because they broke something as a result of their carelessness. Something that could be easily replaced, meanwhile the impact that my tirade could have had on my impressionable children could last a lifetime. Kind of ridiculous when you think about it.

The point I’m trying to get at is that very few people keep these things in perspective and we rarely give our family what they deserve the most – our time.

Since so many are fixated on material possessions we often find ourselves sacrificing this ever so precious time so we can make more money and accumulate more things. But at what cost does that really come?

And when you work so hard and for so long, by the time you get home do you really have anything left in the tank or are you so tired and burnt out that you still can’t give your family what they need even though you’re there?

When it comes down to it, your family deserves the best you that you can give them. Are you doing it or falling short?

To your success,
